Here are a few additional quips from Friendship Games and Man Cave (as spelled above).

At least once each session, the campers participate in Division Night, during which they will do a group activity with cabins in one particular division.

Occasionally, I will use this blog to answer a question that Susie and I often get, “What is it like to run a summer camp.

When I was a camper and a counselor (before the Earth cooled), my favorite part of camp was cabin time and hanging out with my friends. Sure, I loved the activities, but I loved the people I did them with even more.

The first days of any new term are awash with energy, excitement and some apprehension. Campers and counselors are forming new friendships, learning traditions and trying new activities.

Today is a truly full day of chaos and fun.

Today is the Holiday Hoopla dance and the camp was abuzz with excitement.

Some days, the blog does not want to write itself.

I occasionally wonder if I can legitimately call myself an adult.
